Hostel Terraces (Terrazas Estoril) is a hostel run by a family with more than 25 years of hostelling experience.
It is a brand new hostel, located conveniently in the heard of Buenos Aires. The hostel itself is situated on the top floor of a fully restored century-old builing on the world famous Avenida de Mayo.
Some city sights nearby include the Obelisk, the Government House (i.e. Casa Rosada), the Parliament Buidling and the Colon Theatre. Hostel Terraces is also not far from Florida Streaat, Recoleta, La Boca, San Telmo and many other places popular with travellers and locals alike. Some of these destinations are within walking distance, while others are a short bus ride from one of the many city lines close to the hostel of a quick metro experience.
Hostel Terraces offers large rooms with high ceilings, hard wood floors, air-conditioning or heating systems, individual lockers for backpacks, new mattresses, sheets and duvets. They have mixed or female only dorms available. In the living room there is a large flat screen TV, DVD player, movies and free internet access. Of course, one of the main draws of the hostel is the terraces it is named for. High above Buenos Aires you can be surrounded by uniquely interesting urban scenery.
