At Hostelzoo, we’ve been in the hostel and backpacking industry for as long as we can remember. But, when we started our new venture, to build the largest and most comprehensive hostel comparison website in the world, we started to get a little disconnected from the industry we loved so much. Now that the Hostelzoo website is finished, we want to go right back to where we started, to the very beginning.

So we’ve started a hostel.

After falling in love with the amazing experience we had at a little known Australian destination, Great Keppel Island, we have decided to dive right back into the industry and have opened the Hostelzoo Island Eco Backpackers. At our hostel, we want to keep things simple. We aren’t looking to have a three-story backpackers with hundreds of beds. Instead we want to go right back to our roots, to the very heart of backpacking as we knew it.

Locating on the gorgeous coast of a deserted island paradise, the Hostelzoo Island Eco Backpackers is ideal for intrepid travellers. With only two dorm rooms, and a maximum number of twelve guests, we guarantee you’ll have an island experience like no other. Those that come and stay can expect gorgeous coral reef, amazing marine wildlife and miles of long, white, squeaky-clean beaches just waiting to be explored!
